Moog Inc. is hiring for a Workday Project Managerin East Aurora, New York. This role will be responsible for the successful implementation of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) digital transformation project which is critical to organizational and enterprise strategic objectives. The Project Manager will partner with the systems implementation team, and lead the project team through planning and execution, and monitors and controls the project through the project lifecycle.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Works directly with the systems implementation project manager to identify all issues that could impact the project scope/timeline
- Works with the leadership team and systems implementation partner directly on any potential change orders impacting the project and original Statement of Work (SOW)
- Regularly report on project status to internal stakeholders and leadership
- Work with stakeholders and leadership to define project scope and objectives
- Manage project status meetings and project reports with the systems implementation team
- Work with the project team on managing deliverables
- Adhere to the project schedule and work with the team on meeting appropriate defined project milestones
- Track project costs and ensure the project remains on budget
- Measure project performance with the identified project management tools
Qualifications:
- Typically, a bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Or an equivalent number of years of related work experience
- At least six years of progressive experience in project management, to include the implementation of Workday HCM globally, preferred
- Demonstrated competency and experience in implementing the Workday HCM project suite
- Current Workday HCM Certification, preferred
- Prior experience in human resources processes supporting any of the following: benefits, compensation, payroll, core HCM, talent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization
The base pay range for this opportunity is $106,724.80 – $190,091.20 per year.
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog’s total compensation package for employees.
