Our client is seeking a Workers Comp Billing & Collections Specialist to support their department. This is a contract to hire role, offering $23-$25.50 hourly.
Role: Workers Comp Billing & Collections Specialist
Location: Mesquite, TX 75149
Hours: M-F 8-5
Pay Rate Range: $ 23 – $ 25.50 / hour
Job Duties:
- Bill and collect on 20-25 workers comp account a day
- Process and follow up on collections
- Correct/Catch account billing mistakes and errors
- Preparing bills and invoices, and documenting amounts due for medical procedures and services.
- Ensuring the patient’s medical information is accurate and up to date
- SOFTWARE: Wellsky for collections and Anovo for billing
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of worker comp specific experience (healthcare & hospital only)
- Experience billing and collecting workers compensation for multiple states (Tx, Ca, Montana, NM, NC and several others)
