Expected Hiring Payrate: $28.00-$31.63/hour

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The Apprenticeship Coordinator will perform the following responsibilities:

Coaching & Mentoring (50%)

Training & Content Development (10%)

Program Compliance & Reporting (15%)

Supervision (25%)

Job Specifications

Minimum Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education
  • Experience:
    • 1 year experience working as a mentor for youth and adult learners, providing guidance to students, and in implementing program-selected course work in ECE
    • 1 year of experience in child development, professional development, academic guidance, mentoring and program design/implementation
    • Experience working with 2 and 4-year colleges/universities
    • Sufficient strength, agility, and mobility to perform essential functions and to supervise program activities in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor locations
  • Technical Requirements: Intermediate proficiency level using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and video conferencing tools including Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • Travel: This position requires 25% of travel to our Antelope Valley CCRC location and our headquarters office in Chatsworth. May use CCRC company vehicles, when available or personal vehicle and will be subject to Driver Management Policy requirements (i.e., valid California Driver’s License, automobile insurance and a clean driving record required).
  • Work Schedule: Full time, including non-traditional evenings and weekends work hours. Must be available to work evenings and weekends when apprenticeship classes are in session. Specifically, 8am-4pm on Saturdays. Schedule flexibility during school breaks. Travel between Antelope valley and San Fernando valley will be required.
