Workplace Strategic PM, Project Kuiper

Amazon’s Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

The Workspace Strategic Program Manager role is responsible for the development and execution of the workplace strategy for Kuiper. They make it their mission to understand the priorities of the Kuiper business and own the growth strategy by leveraging those priorities. They act as a gatekeeper to ensure workspace is utilized in accordance to business requirements.

In this role, you will collaborate with leaders across the organization to develop utilization plans at both the macro and micro level.

The successful candidate must be comfortable operating on both strategic and tactical levels, simultaneously acting as a visionary, an internal ambassador, educator, analyst, solutions architect, and implementer.

Key job responsibilities

– Assist the team in establishing space planning tenants, goals and objectives.

– Complete strategic workspace utilization assessments.

– Conduct physical and space allocation planning and audits to anticipate and respond to emerging mission requirements.

– Develop, execute, track, report and maintain data to ensure accuracy of strategic workspace strategy.

– approved solutions that fulfill strategic workspace strategy.

– Participates in project Intake meetings to help determine project feasibility.

– Primary point of contact for leadership, operations and customer teams through implementation of staff relocations in support of the workplace strategy.

– Provides appropriate program-level reporting

Export Control Requirement:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 3+ years of program or project management experience

– 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

– Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

– Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

– 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

– Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

– Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
