WW GTM Lead – Amazon Onsite, Amazon Ad Sales

The WW GTM lead: Amazon Onsite will lead Global Sales GTM for Amazon Ads supporting Amazon Onsite supply product adoption, including Display and Online Video while introducing Deals buying format. You will be part of a growing team that is focused on driving the strategy, execution and adoption of Amazon’s advertising properties. In this role, you will develop first of its kind GTM strategies to drive adoption of Amazon Onsite Ad media stand-alone, bundled, and via deals. You bring thought leadership on where our relative advantages or risks lie, along with current trends around innovation, consolidation, and customer adoption. You have solid business judgment with a track record of strong external and internal relationship management, and ability to map the intersection of customer needs, partner priorities, and Amazon priorities. You thrive in ambiguity, and are excited to own and build a nascent program within internal Amazon teams and with external customers.

Key job responsibilities

Own, create, and lead the execution of the strategic growth plan with Amazon Onsite Ad media product leadership

Manage entire sales enablement process, including but not limited to: opportunity identification and scoping, commercials, GTM alignment and launch, and ongoing product partnership planning

Work with Sales, Product, and Marketing leadership to prioritize customer integration needs, validate demand, and align on goals

Lead demand generation strategy, coordinating with sales, marketing and Product leadership where relevant

Increase the total number of advertisers and agencies adopting Amazon Onsite Ad Media globally by enabling sales teams via internal trainings, thought leadership and implementing growth strategies.

Develop joint GTM with partners, including shared goals, target lists, pitch support, and business reviews

Establish voice of customer and voice of sales mechanisms with product partners to deliver feedback packages that influence future product decisions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– Appropriate years of experience (10+) in business development, product management, digital media operations (sales or brand management) at a advertiser or an agency

– Experience in previous roles managing relationships with senior stakeholders including: Product leaders, Sales, Account Management, Finance and Marketing

– Extensive knowledge of digital media landscape and AdTech (e.g. Identity resolution, DSPs, programmatic media, premium digital video, performance advertising)

– Experience building and deploying GTM strategies, with an emphasis on packaging, positioning and messaging.

– Experience dealing with results, metrics and data management and a desire to create and build new processes

– Possess analytical and quantitative skills with an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses

– Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), including the ability to present complex topics both in person, over the phone, and through concise document writing

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– MBA or advanced degree

– Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously while defining and delivering priorities amidst ambiguity

– Experience building and executing product and sales strategies across teams at scale globally

– SQL /Data Analysis proficiency to build data driven sales strategies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $140,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
