Master Halco, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fencing and perimeter security products is seeking a Yard Associate at our branch.
This position performs an array of functions including:
- Safely drive a sitdown forklift to load/unload trucks
- Manually lift and place material onto palettes and forks
- Ensure customer’s orders are pulled and loaded accurately
- Maintain the yard stock in a clean and organized manner
- Provide excellent customer service
- Work efficiently with the team to ensure branch success

- Eligible for a wage progression plan with pay increases of 50 Cents every 6 months over a 3-year period

Responsibilities
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- Accurately load trucks for outgoing shipments
- Receive and stock inbound material
- Using a computer, complete receiving and work orders accurately
- Pull, prepare, and package materials for shipment
- Rotate yard stock and materials
- Maintains clean and safe working environment

Qualifications
- 1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard position drivng forklift
- Ability to consistently lift and move heavy materials (manually lift up to 60lbs)
- Forklift experience (sitdown) highly desired
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions is required
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Experience with building materials a plus
