Part Time Football Coaches Wanted!
Asphalt Green is a non-profit sports and fitness center located on Manhattans Upper East Side. We offer programs, classes and clinics for adults and kids at our beautiful 5.5 acre campus. We are currently looking for experienced and dependable football coaches who are passionate about instructing our customers and upholding the high standards of our Youth Flag Football programming.
Our program runs from September – June on Mondays 4:00pm-5:15pm and Friday evenings 6:00pm-9pm . Coaches will be expected to teach approximately 3-4 hours/week. $22-$25 an hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Our players are ages 5-15. Coaches will develop appropriate lesson plans and lead practice sessions including game routes and play calling
- Ensure that all kids play equally while working to improve their knowledge of the game and related techniques
- Prepare field and player areas
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will be passionate about sharing their knowledge and skills with the players. Must have experience working with very young children. High energy, team focused with strong customer service and communication skills. High school, College, semi-Professional, or professional football playing experience is preferred desirable.
