Summary: This position is responsible for overall program integrity, daily operation, budget compliance and development of the Housing Resource Center and Homeless Services program at Commonwealth Catholic Charities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Coordinate and supervise all aspects of assigned projects and ensure that programs operate according to established best practices and within their established operating budgets.
• Provide supervision of staff in their daily performance of program duties to include the development and implementation of service standards, goals, and objectives. Ensures staff and/or volunteer coverage is available for all program components.
• Responsible for the quality of case record documentation, both manually and electronically.
• Ensures completion and submission of program reports and coordinates accreditation process for each program component. Serves as the main contact for site visits, monitoring, and audits.
• Ensures data quality in appropriate HMIS software and performs client file reviews regularly to ensure compliance with program policies and procedures and relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
• Implements policies and procedures for all program components to maintain integrity among funders, auditors, examiners and reviewers.
• Plans and coordinates marketing and training sessions on a regular basis for the public sector to keep the agency linked to appropriate funding sources and services.
• Assists with writing grants and with other initiatives to maintain and secure funding from government and private sources.
• Serves as liaison with partner agencies, parishes, granters, funders and businesses to promote and expand services as resource permits.
• Respond to all public inquiries into the needs and the services delivered by the program and its components.
• Participates in program budget preparation and the planning for program development.
• Ensures adherence to the Agency’s Performance and Quality Improvement Plan within assigned programs.
• Promote staff professional growth through established training requirements.
• Represents the Agency in the community and workplace in a professional and ethical manner.
• Demonstrates sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal, decision-making, problem-solving, oral, and written skills.
• Utilizes a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study required with 4 years of experience. One year of supervisory experience is required. Previous experience managing state and/or federally funded services is preferred.
