Paradigm is seeking a mid-level UX Writer experienced in developing language strategies across multiple digital touchpoints for our client. The ideal candidate will have proven experience writing in voices that engage consumer audiences, has experience with branding who can tailor the tone of voice for different target audiences, and experience using design systems. Additionally the ideal candidate should be comfortable working with large projects through research, concepting, prototyping, validation, and development. The UX Writer is a persuasive storyteller, exemplifies creative vision with the ability to see the big picture, and is considered a developing subject matter expert.

As the UX Writer, you will:
- Support content goals for complex projects across multiple platforms
- Write original content that maintains brand consistency and accessibility across all channels
- Review and evaluate content for compliance with brand guidelines, vision, and standards; provide tangible feedback to improve quality and user comprehension
- Contribute to a project team of other writers including internal and outsourced partners to develop informative and engaging content for consumer audiences
- Edit and fact-check pieces of content generated by colleagues and apply UX writing best practices
- Partner with designers to enrich text with visual aids such as images and charts
- Work with three separate program teams to develop content consistency between digital interfaces with the goal of eventual integration into a single new UI
Requirements
Our skills and experience wish list includes:
- Four-year degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or relevant field such as Psychology, Human Computer Interaction or equivalent
- A minimum of 4 to 6 years of related experience
- Portfolio of published articles showcasing writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail is a must
- History of solid time-management skills within a large organization
- Entrepreneurial spirit and strong advocate for the user experience
- Ability to work collaboratively, take direction, and work efficiently in an ambiguous environment
- Experience with Figma, Miro, Jira is desired
- Experience writing for localization a plus
In compliance with California’s Pay Transparency Law, the minimum salary for this role is $43 per hour + benefits. The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience. Our Client considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education and training, core skills, internal equity, and market and business elements when extending an offer.
